Committees

In October 2003, DCA established a committee system to accomplish the goals and objectives of the school. These committees are working committees that are led by board members. Each committee is made up of parent and teacher volunteers who want to be involved with the workings of the school. Review the list of committees and their descriptions listed below. Please contact the appropriate board member to determine needs of how YOU CAN HELP:

• Planning and Advancement Committee - To keep a current long range plan available and to develop new programs and revenue sources to supplement tuition. 
• Education Committee - To upgrade currently curriculum and add new curriculum, materials and training.
• Public Relations / Communications - To ensure DCA has an active public relations and marketing program.
• Spiritual Life / Church Relations - To ensure DCA students are exposed to the best possible spiritual enrichment program. 
• Athletics Committee - To administer an athletic program in conjunction with the headmaster. 
• Finance Committee - To monitor the financial status of the DCA board, conduct annual audits, and look for income sources outside tuition. 
• Futures Committee - To operate the DCA Foundation to provide land and facilities for the Academy.
