Tuition Policy
School
Tuition is charged on an annual basis. However, for the convenience of the parents, tuition may be paid in one of four ways:

  • One payment due on the first day of the new school year.

  • Two payments with one-half due on the first day of the school year and the second half due on the second Monday in January.

  • Twelve monthly payments beginning on June 15th and ending on May 15th, paid through Smart Tuition.

  • Ten monthly payments beginning on August 15th and ending on May 15th, paid through Smart Tuition.

If the account is 60 calendar days past due, the student may be dismissed from the Academy unless some arrangement has been made with the school to bring the account up to date.

Payments MUST be made to Smart Tuition except when the entire year’s tuition is paid at the beginning of the school year or on a two-payment basis. One-time and two-time payments should be made directly to the DCA office. The Smart Tuition Company offers options to pay from a coupon book, automatic bank draft, or credit card. See the Smart Tuition brochure for more information.

Upon a student’s valid withdrawal from school, yearly or semiannual tuition that has been paid will be pro-rated and returned to those who paid. Some valid reasons for withdrawal would be moving away from the Danville Christian Academy area, a long illness, financial difficulty in the family or some other similar circumstance. The Board will have the final say as to the validity of the withdrawal.
